I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Horizant? Is Horizant safe for nursing mother and child? Does Horizant extracts into breast milk? Does Horizant has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Horizant influence milk supply or can Horizant decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Antiepileptic drug that is also used in the treatment of neuropathic pain and Restless Leg Syndrome. It is excreted into breast milk in clinically non-significant amount. No problem was observed in infants whose mothers were on this medication.Plasma levels in those infants were undetectable or very low.
