I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Unisal? Is Unisal safe for nursing mother and child? Does Unisal extracts into breast milk? Does Unisal has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Unisal influence milk supply or can Unisal decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Salicylic acid derivative which is excreted into breast milk in low amount after an outdated source. Known safer alternatives would be preferred.

The small amounts of Unisal in milk do not appear to pose a serious risk to breastfeeding infants. However, a shorter-acting agents having more published information may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
