I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Digacin? Is Digacin safe for nursing mother and child? Does Digacin extracts into breast milk? Does Digacin has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Digacin influence milk supply or can Digacin decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Because of the low levels of Digacin in breastmilk, amounts ingested by the infant are small and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. If the mother is to receive Digacin intravenously, avoidance of breastfeeding for 2 hours after the dose will lessen the dose the infant receives.
Digacin Side Effects in Breastfeeding
At least 4 infants have been reported to have been breastfed in studies on Digacin in breastmilk. None had any detectable Digacin effect.[2][4][6]
