Answer by DrLact: About Lanoxin usage in lactation

Because of the low levels of Lanoxin in breastmilk, amounts ingested by the infant are small and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. If the mother is to receive Lanoxin intravenously, avoidance of breastfeeding for 2 hours after the dose will lessen the dose the infant receives.

Lanoxin Side Effects in Breastfeeding

At least 4 infants have been reported to have been breastfed in studies on Lanoxin in breastmilk. None had any detectable Lanoxin effect.[2][4][6]
