I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Dimecip? Is Dimecip safe for nursing mother and child? Does Dimecip extracts into breast milk? Does Dimecip has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Dimecip influence milk supply or can Dimecip decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Because of the low levels of Dimecip in breastmilk, amounts ingested by the infant are small and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. If the mother is to receive Dimecip intravenously, avoidance of breastfeeding for 2 hours after the dose will lessen the dose the infant receives.
Dimecip Side Effects in Breastfeeding
At least 4 infants have been reported to have been breastfed in studies on Dimecip in breastmilk. None had any detectable Dimecip effect.[2][4][6]
