I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Preparation AF? Is Preparation AF safe for nursing mother and child? Does Preparation AF extracts into breast milk? Does Preparation AF has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Preparation AF influence milk supply or can Preparation AF decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Four newborn infants were allowed to breastfeed in one study after a maternal dose of 1 gram of Preparation AF hippurate. No adverse effects were reported.[1]
