I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use S 4 (heterocycle)? Is S 4 (heterocycle) safe for nursing mother and child? Does S 4 (heterocycle) extracts into breast milk? Both the hippurate and mandelate salts of S 4 (heterocycle) pass into milk in small quantities and appear acceptable to use, even while nursing a newborn.

S 4 (heterocycle) Side Effects in Breastfeeding

Four newborn infants were allowed to breastfeed in one study after a maternal dose of 1 gram of S 4 (heterocycle) hippurate. No adverse effects were reported.[1]
