I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BRL 1241? Is BRL 1241 safe for nursing mother and child? Does BRL 1241 extracts into breast milk? Does BRL 1241 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BRL 1241 influence milk supply or can BRL 1241 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Amounts of BRL 1241 ingested by the infant in breastmilk are small and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects. Occasionally disruption of the infant's gastrointestinal flora, resulting in diarrhea or thrush have been reported with penicillins, but these effects have not been adequately evaluated. BRL 1241 is acceptable in nursing mothers.
